Large Furnished Room in Vegetarian/Vegan House

A large and lovely furnished room is available in a colourful vegetarian/vegan house in the New Cross Gate area of South East London. The street is tree-lined and quiet, with no through traffic and around 10 mins walk from Goldsmiths' College. We are looking for a new lodger now our present one is going home to Hong Kong.

We are a mature couple, active and with a variety of interests. We would welcome people from all sectors of the population, but no meat/fish eaters, smokers or Tories, as we are vegan (woman) and lacto-vegetarian (man) and politically progressive.

In addition to the room, our new lodger will have access to the bathroom, kitchen and garden. The room for rent is at the front of the house and has two large windows that let in maximum light. It has a double bed, a wardrobe with drawers, a chest of drawers, a bookcase, a breakfast bar and chair, a table, two armchairs, a coffee table and a full-length mirror. We can supply a duvet and bedlinen at no extra cost, but our lodger will be welcome to bring their own. We are happy for overnight visitors to be accommodated by arrangement. The room is served by BT broadband, and all bills are included in the rent.

The area has many local amenities. In addition to New Cross Gate station, New Cross station and Queens Road station are within a mile. The house is situated five minutes walk from two main roads where many bus routes are available. A large branch of Sainsbury's, plus T-Max and other stores are within ten minutes walk of the house.
