Double room available in New Cross Gate houseshare

Hello!

We are looking for a fourth housemate to join us in the basement room of our Victorian townhouse in New Cross Gate!

About us:
We are three creative professionals in our late twenties/early thirties working in editing, architecture and hospitality. We have a range of interests from art, film, photography, and exploring all that London has to offer! We all lead busy lives with different work schedules so this isn’t a party house, however up for going for a drink etc.

The room:
It is a good size double room which was redecorated fairly recently. There is a room next to this room unoccupied which leads to the garden and could be used how you wish. The room comes unfurnished however the bed can be bought off the current housemate if desired.

The location:
Great location to live in as it acts as a central hub to get to interesting places quickly such as Peckham, Camberwell, Greenwich, Deptford and easy access to Easy and central London.

New Cross Gate station (4 minute walk, overground trains to Highbury & Islington / Crystal Palace / West Croydon / Clapham Junction and direct trains to London Bridge in 10 minutes)

New Cross gate bus garage (3 minute walk, loads of buses to everywhere you need to go)

The house:
The house itself is old, has lots of character and potential to make your own, plus lots of space for storage. This house wouldn’t be suitable for someone looking for a modern or pristine environment. We like living in a tidy environment and would like to live with someone who is considerate and who also thinks this is important.

The rent is very reasonable for London but comes with a caveat where we have to occasionally help with minor tasks to upkeep the house. (Anything major the landlord is very quick to organise)

There is an amazing garden which for anyone with an interest in gardening can make their own. The house doesn’t have a central heating system for radiators however electric heaters are provided which work efficiently to get you through the winter.

Move in date would be on the 4th May, but this is flexible.
