A bright and spacious room is available in our lovely characterful two-floor Victorian maisonette, just a 4-minute walk from New Cross Gate station.

The room is a generous 4m x 6m, south-facing with two large windows, and comes furnished with a double bed and piano, with plenty of space for relaxing with a sofa and table/ desk. With double and secondary glazing, it’s a peaceful and quiet space.

You'll be sharing the home with a friendly couple in our late 30s who work in the arts and communications. We’re easygoing, clean, happy for a chat and looking for someone similarly considerate. The maisonette has a shared bathroom (with bath and shower), a well-equipped kitchen-diner, and an outside space to enjoy when the weather’s good. We have a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks to look after communal spaces.

Transport links are excellent, with quick trains to London Bridge (10 mins) and easy access to the Jubilee Line via Canada Water. Really quick and easy for anyone who works in The City or Canary Wharf. The Overground runs 24 hours at weekends, making it easy to get around London day or night.

Rent: £800 per month (Mon-Fri only) - we can be flexible if you're looking for less nights a week.
