My flatmate is leaving and I’m looking for someone to take over her room in this amazing flat.

Double room in a two bedroom flat in Newington Green. 10 min walk from Canonbury station and 20 min of walk from Highbury and Islington (victoria line). Plenty of buses about a minute’s walk. Corner shops and tesco express less than 3 min walk. Clissold park is about 5 min walk from the flat. And the Mildmay club is about a 5 min walk! There’s plenty of restaurants and cool cafes around!

I’ve been living in this flat for 5 years and I’ve made it my home, so I’m looking for someone who kind, respectful and clean, who wants a home rather than a flat share. If you feel this is you, please keep reading!

About me (Mariana): creative in her 30s, working in theatre. I work 2 days a week from home and the others I’m at the office. I’m quite sociable, like swimming, cycling, singing, and cooking (terrible with portions so there’s always food to be shared!). I love coffee and plants so bonus points if you like either!

You: Woman in her 30s. You are kind, respectful and clean. You enjoy a casual chat at the end of the day, are ok with sharing a drink, a meal or a spontaneous hang out, but are also ok doing your own thing. You don’t work for home often.
FYI: The room faces Green Lanes, so there’s city noises. Not ideal for very light sleepers, unless you are ok using earplugs.

The deal: semi furnished room (my flatmate is taking her furniture so the room comes with a bed, and two wardrobes)

Rent: £870 (likely to increase in May- amount tbc)
Bills: £150 pcm approx.
Deposit: £770.
Rent and bills paid on the 27th of each month.

I rent through an agency so you need to be ok providing references!
