The house is extremely spacious, having a large kitchen diner, a lounge, a storage room, under stairs storage, 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a garden, and a roof terrace.
The house is a pretty terrace house on a nice, quiet and safe estate in Nine Elms.
In terms of amenities, there is a huge Sainsbury’s just a few minutes walk away, a smaller Tesco open all hours just a few minutes walk away, various shops/restaurants/takeouts close by, Vauxhall station about 12 mins walk away, Stockwell station about 12 mins walk away and Wandsworth road overground about 15-20 mins walk away.
The rent is £750 pcm, with another approx £100 in bills. The bills include council tax, virgin wifi, gas, electric, and a cleaner every 2 weeks.
There is also optional street parking available subject to buying a parking permit (which I have and only costs £130 for the year). There are always plenty of spaces on the street.
The contract runs until October 2021. I am a current housemate and I have been living in the house for 3 years with some other friends. I have loved living in the house and I’ve had some really great times, but unfortunately my situation has changed due to COVID-19, and I am no longer working in London so I need to move elsewhere. I am flexible as to a move out date.
The current housemates include 2 males aged 25 and 1 female aged 23. One housemate works in investment banking, one is a project manager, and one is a PhD student in physics at Imperial. The house has a great dynamic, with everyone getting on well, spending some time together (e. g Netflix nights and meals together) but equally not living in each other’s pockets and all still having their own space and friends.
