One lovely double room available for 5-6 months in huge converted boat as seen in New York Times – this is not a typical houseboat! it’s more like a very large home that happens to be on the Thames so if you'd like to live somewhere unusual for a while with every luxury then this is for you!

The room is a double bedroom in a four bed / two bath flat on an ex-North Atlantic fishing trawler on the Thames, halfway between Vauxhall Bridge and Battersea power Station on the South side, 7 minutes from the new Battersea Power Station development and tube station, and about 10min walking distance to Vauxhall, with immediate access to 344, 436 and 156 buses. There is a large Waitrose right across the street, a small Sainsbury's a few doors away and a large Sainsbury's ~20 mins walk away.

The monthly rent is inclusive of everything except broadband internet and cleaner (which together comes to £30 extra a month).

The room is available for 5-6 months from mid-October and is fully furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, and cupboard.

You'll be sharing the flat with 2 female and 1 male professionals. And 2 flats in the other half of the boat.

The boat features a huge deck space with great river views, a washer/dryer, gas cooker, tv, central heating and the usual amenities. It has brought everyone who has lived here a unique experience of London and boat community.

We're looking for someone who is very clean, fun and sociable. We like a good party and hosting, but prioritise respect for one another so that we can all get to work in the morning! You can expect a very sociable home where we are open, and probably more like a family than strangers that live together.
