Lovely, quiet double room near Portobello Road

House

I have a lovely, clean, quiet, comfortable double room in North Kensington to rent Monday to Friday. The house is not far from Portobello Road and close to transport (Hammersmith & City/buses – Zone 2); easy bus or 20 minutes’ walk to Notting Hill Gate (Zone 1). Paddington is only 15 mins tube ride from Latimer Road/Ladbroke Grove.

The room is bright and comfortable with a double bed, wardrobe, table and chair – ideal for study or relaxing after work. Share kitchen (own fridge) and bathroom with me, an editor/writer. We also have a lovely Mediterranean garden and two cats. Wi-fi and all bills are included in the rent.

Please note that I am looking for more of a lodger than a ‘flatmate’ – someone quiet, respectful and independent who won't want to cook a lot and doesn’t mind the presence of my elderly mother who has her own flat upstairs.

The room is available week days only (terms negotiable according to number of regular nights), so it would suit someone who needs to be in London for work/study and has a home to return to at weekends. Only short-term full-time arrangements considered.
