Super-king ensuite in large cosy Notting Hill flat

The room is a very large double bedroom (with super-king bed) with next door bathroom on the top floor of my home on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. The place is on three floors and this is the only bedroom on the third floor.

The room is extremely quiet, despite Portobello Market, shops and bars being right outside. The room is nicely decorated, with a mixture of modern and antique pieces. There is a wardrobe, work table, small TV and a view over the rooftops of Notting Hill. The adjacent private bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet.

The shared kitchen and living room are large, and have everything you might need from a big smart TV to a dishwasher. There's a nice terrace at the back of the flat and even a small seating area with deck chairs on the roof - both are lovely for relaxing on a warm day. There’s also a laundry room with a tumble dryer. My home is above above my family shop, which means Amazon parcels, etc. can be delivered easily.

The flat is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bus ride to both Notting Hill Gate (Central, Circle, District) or 7 minutes walk to Ladbroke Grove (Circle, Hammersmith & City) and 10 minutes by bus to the Elizabeth Line at Paddington. It’s very quick to get all over the city and out to Heathrow.

I’m a 38 year old gay guy and have lived here for many years. I work in local government and enjoy travel, cooking, wine, history and have a good group of friends from all over the world. The other flatmate, Lee, is a 32 year old comedian working in television - he makes great cocktails. We’re both sociable and enjoy going out, but tend to keep the flat peaceful and tranquil.

In terms of new a new flatmate, we're looking for a friendly, relaxed, positive person, who enjoy life while respecting the home.

The rent is £1,350 a month - council tax, internet and utilities are £100 a month - and then it’s another £100 a month towards the weekly cleaner (who does all cleaning, washing, ironing, etc). We have super-fast internet for working from home and two desk spaces.
