Bright, spacious room in lovely Nunhead

The space:

This is a cosy yet spacious two-bed flat in Nunhead.

The bedroom is a large room (approx. 3.5m x 3.5m), freshly painted in a lovely bluey green, with parquet flooring (it feels and looks bigger and nicer than the photos show). It will come with a bed, chest of drawers and shelves (frosted glass can also be put on the windows if you’d like more privacy, the last housemate just didn’t want them). I would say the photos don’t do the room justice (my friend took pictures of the rest of the house with her fancy phone camera).

The flat has a large living room with shelf space, a well-equipped and spacious kitchen with lots of surfaces, the bathroom has been recently updated and lovely floor tiling and a wide bath with a big shower head. There is a small outdoor patio space, big enough for eating, having BBQs, exercising and growing some plants/herbs.

You:
Looking for someone warm and friendly, independent and up for cooking together (with the previous housemate, when we are both in we take turns to cook and it’s really nice), sometimes cosying up to a film or TV. Also ideally someone who doesn’t work from home every day (a split is fine) - however it's not a dealbreaker if the fit is right.

Given there will be two housemates living here, one already female, ideally the room would be occupied by another female.

About your potential new housemate:
You’d be living with an early 30s friendly, fun and warm woman, who enjoys a balance between going out and staying in, having conversations about all manner of things, chill time watching TV or films, and having some quiet time.

It would be lovely to cultivate a friendly, caring female vibe together <3.

A bit about the area:
Nunhead is the best area I’ve lived in London, and I couldn’t talk about it more highly of it. It’s got an independent high street with veg shops, a pharmacy, local convenience stores, delicious food, many great pubs and more. It has a community feel, whilst being a stone's throw away from bustling Peckham.

The transport links are great, with Nunhead station less than 5 minutes away with many links to London and outside, and Queens Road Peckham is a 10-minute walk but feels even closer as it's just down the road.

Other useful information:
The house is kept tidy and we can split the house cleaning - it doesn’t take long at all.

The is an inclusive household, and LGBT friendly.

Bills are about approx £115 and include electricity, gas, TV license, water, WiFi and council tax (band C).

There is flexibility regarding the period, so don’t hesitate to get in touch even if it’s for a short period. However, on this end, a year can be guaranteed if that suits you, or we can figure out what's best. Also with the move-in date, there is also a little bit of flexibility with it, so if you sound like the right fit, but it’s a little later, let me know your requirements and we can also discuss this.

**Move in date tbc: the current housemate’s situation has slightly changed and her move out date is tbc, likely it will be later than stated, however I will keep the post up and update it once I have more information.**
