Large double room in amazing location!

Hey flat hunters,

Our fabulous flatmate is sadly moving out so we are looking for someone to replace her in our cozy flat near Old Street.

The large room with a double bed is available from Wednesday 27 November onwards, with the lease ending on 26 March 2020 (likely with an option to renew).

The flat is 3 bedrooms, one bathroom (but two toilets), and a kitchen. Two of the bedrooms (including yours) have couches, so we tend to hang out in each other's rooms or at the kitchen table instead!

You would be living with two females, Lucy and Laure. Lucy is a 26-year-old Australian who moved to London for work in February this year. Laure is a 23-year-old from Geneva, working at an Animal charity. We both live busy lives and travel a fair bit between us, but also love a good chat at the end of the day over a cup of tea (or wine), going out for dinner, going for walks down by the canal, cooking, etc.

We are looking for someone also living a busy professional life, who is friendly, keen for a laugh, neat and tidy and respectful of their fellow flatmates.

A bit more about the flat:

The location is amazing - nice and quiet, but under 10 minute walk into Shoreditch and 5 minute walk to Old Street station. Plenty of super markets also 5-10 minute walk away, along with great cafes, bars etc. all nearby.

- 15 mins walk from St. Paul’s Cathedral and Bank
- 20 mins walk from Liverpool street station and Holborn
- 40 mins walk to Oxford Street

The room comes furnished with a double bed, mirror, wardrobe, two lamps, a small wicker dresser and chest of drawers. Our current flatmate also owns the couch and extra wardrobe, which will be sold to the new tenant. Apologies about the night time photos - everything looks bigger and better in person, we promise!

We jointly own various bits around the flat that we bought in March/April when we moved in (e. g. new toaster, kettle, plates, cutlery, knife set, vacuum cleaner, cleaning products, etc.). The cost of the extra furniture for the bedroom and chipping in for all these items would be 200 pounds. Happy to discuss when you come for a viewing but hopefully moving into a fully functioning flat will suit you also!
