Large and bright double room near Old Street

Hey flat hunters!

A large and sunny double room will be available from mid November in our cute Whitecross Street flat.

ABOUT THE ROOM
The room is furnished with a double bed (with a comfortable mattress less than 3 years old), chests of drawers, wardrobes, sofa, glass tables, carpet and mirror. I purchased the carpet and the three glass tables that fits into each other (optimal space wise) and I will be selling it to the new tenant (but I suppose it can be more like 'renting' it as you can sell it onto the next person! I have added this amount to the deposit).

As shown in the photos, the room is very spacious and bright, with 2 large windows. It currently has no desk but there is definitely space for it.

The rent is an absolute steal for the size of the room and location (£750) - it hasn't been raised in 6 years! Bills tend to be between £70-£100 per month (council tax, wifi, water, gas/electricity).

ABOUT THE FLAT
The flat is cute and bright, with excellent heating and wooden floors. It is a 3 bedroom flat with 1 bathroom but 2 toilets, set over 2 floors. The front door is shared with only one other (very friendly) downstairs neighbour, so it feels very safe and secure.
There is no living room but the bedrooms are large so there is enough space to hang out in the kitchen or in each other's rooms!

LOCATION
The location is amazing. Short walking distance to Old Street, Barbican and Moorgate stations, as well as several busses 30 seconds walk away. Plenty of shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance (Co-Op, Waitrose, M&S). Right outside our window is the wonderful Whitecross Street food market with cuisines from all around the world!

FLATMATES
You would be living with two other lovely, easy going and friendly girls. We enjoy spending time together, both at home and out and about while also respecting each others' time and space. We would love to find a like-minded person who shares similar flat-life views!

OTHER DETAILS
I am looking for someone to move in (or at least start paying rent) from the 15th of November 2021 onwards.
The contract runs out in November, so you will be signing a new lease with the landlord Jim. He is very laid back and easy to talk to. You don't need a reference or guarantor to take over the room. Jim trusts us to find the right person!
