Double Room in Beautiful Flat 5min to Oval

Hello! I'm looking to fill my double room in a 3bed flat next to Oval tube stop in Zone 2. Ideal move in date late January, after the 22nd.

I am incredibly sad to be leaving, but visa issues are forcing the move. I've added some information here (message me for anything else you'd want to know!) about the flat and who we're looking for. Looking forward to hearing from anyone interested!

THE FLAT: The flat has 3 double bedrooms, a beautiful living room, a fun separate kitchen, a separate shower room and toilet. It has both a washing machine and dryer (!) and comes fully furnished in every room (flatscreen TV in the living room, hoover, microwave/toaster/kettle in the kitchen, etc).. It's in a flat block on the 3rd floor (no lift) but very safe, as there's a security gate. Our walls are very thick, and it's not noisy at all inside, and we've had no trouble with neighbors. See attached pictures/floorplan etc.

RENT/BILLS: you pay 650pcm (with bills, around 680pcm as we pay a flat rate for all utilities - no worries about turning lights off, washing machine use, or taking short showers). The lease goes until September 1. Our landlord is amazing, he's responded quickly to every issue (from a loose switchplate to adding extra insulation to my flatmate's windows to keep out drafts).

LOCATION: The location is amazing - incredibly low rent for a fantastic area (Zone 2), and you're 5minutes walk from Oval (Northern line), 10minutes from Vauxhall (Victoria line), Kennington (Northern line), 15minutes from Stockwell (Victoria and Northern line). If you're a cyclist, the area is amazing for bikes and has plenty of cycle lanes. The flat is less than 5 minutes to Kennington Park, and around 15/20 minutes to the bank of the Thames, and 10 to get to the Imperial War Museum. It's about 30minutes to walk to the Tate Modern, Southbank, Borough Market, etc.

SHOPS: There's a 24hr Nisa Local less than 5min from the flat (yes, it really does sell everything 24hrs, perfect for that midnight bottle of wine you forgot to get for movie night!), a large Tesco less than 10min, several small Tescos ~ 10min, a large Lidl about 15min (by Stockwell tube), and Sainsbury's and Morrison's about 15min. There's also a local Farmer's Market every Saturday by Oval tube stop!

YOUR ROOM: you'd be taking a room with a double bed (a true double!), massive wardrobe, desk and chair, and armchair. I'd be happy to leave all bedding (sheets, duvet, pillows etc, washed!) so it's 100% move in ready for you. Our walls are thick so everyone has privacy, and you have the room you need to relax and work in. There's excellent wifi throughout the flat (we've boosted it and speed tested!).

YOUR FLATMATES: you'd be moving in with two great friends of mine - Julia (f) and Avi (m). Both in their mid 20s, Julia just finished a MA at UCL in Education Policy and is doing part time/flexible work while looking for the right fit long term; Avi is working in sales full-time. Both are incredible cooks - we love having dinner parties (just us and our significant others at the moment, but government regulations permitting we love to (safely and legally) host), playing board/card games, and watching movies together. We enjoy everything London has to offer, from the Barbican Conservatory to the Tate Modern to Gordon's Wine Bar, when we're able to visit! We also give each other space, and respect boundaries when people are working from home or want some down time. We're a flat with mixed nationalities so we'd want you to enjoy the mix that comes with different backgrounds!

ABOUT YOU: we're looking for someone with similar values - down to socialize and chat, but also respect when work needs to be done or people want a bit of quiet. We like to have our significant others over, and we always like to meet new people/friends (when safe/legal!). During COVID we have always followed precautions to stay safe, and would want you to do the same (please no anti-maskers or those who hold houseparties in Tier 4!). Students or professionals are welcome, we're just looking for someone who has a similar lifestyle and personality.
