Well Located Double Room

The room is upstairs on a very quiet street (only pedestrians) with big double windows opening out onto a beautiful victorian decorative balcony. There is a spacious garden which gets hours of sun and is equally quiet and well furnished. Inside the house is a living room with a projector, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully kitted out, we often cook and eat together (although that’s not mandatory!). The bathroom is small but not poky with a bath/shower, cupboard space and a lav.

We are a 5 minute walk from Oval station (Northern Line), 10 minute walk from Stockwell station (Victoria and Northern) and a two minute walk from a bus stop on Brixton Road and a bus stop on Camberwell New Road.

There is a big park at the end of our road, and Kennington Park five minutes away. We are fifteen minutes away from Brixton and Camberwell, both with a glut of excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes, markets and bars.

Your housemates will be two laidback full time working guys. We are friendly and openminded.

We both enjoy watching films (new or old, thoughtful or thrilling), documentaries or the occasional TV series. We listen to lots of music of all kinds (other than heavy metal), cook cracking meals and occasionally read (we both need to do more that). We also love: the outdoors, the pub, gigs (when they reopen), galleries, travelling and tennis (and table tennis - we have bats).

I (Milo) work as a builder, often doing carpentry for a company that makes boutique garden rooms. I do most of the cooking. Ed is a tree surgeon saving tree lives every day. Ed does most of the gardening.
