Hi!

Myself (Marley she/her, 37) Brains (he/they, 24) & George (he/him, 28) are looking for a new flat mate! Our lovely flat mate is heading off on their own adventure and we are looking for a new person to come join us. I work in the NHS, George is a video editor & drag queen and Brains works in theatre production, we all work mostly days and I do nights every few weeks, We are friendly, enjoy having a chat when we are around but we all have quite different schedules. We would like a tidy and friendly person who will get along in the house and enjoy a chat in the garden. Please note this is a queer household and we would love to keep it that way but we are open to anyone that fits in, no homophobia, transphobia, misogyny etc. gender is a spectrum in our house and pronouns are important.

The room is on the first floor at the front of the house, big windows with lots of light. It comes furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers & a closet. Rent is £698.52 per month which includes water, council tax & WiFi , the rent advance/deposit is 1 month (£637.50)
Gas and electricity are on a meter, £20 or less per person in summer, last winter it was £25-30 but this winter could be maybe £50, hopefully much less. We also have a few communal things like TP & handsoap that’s a few pounds every few months. All in it’s about £720-750 depending on the month.

We have a small but cosy living room, separate toilet/bathroom, galley kitchen and then a huge garden that gets lots of sun during the day, we also have a little fire pit out there which is lovely for having a few friends over in the cooler months. We also have a cat named Jason Bourne, he is Brains’s son but we all love him and help with food/pats/play etc if needed, he adores pats and sleeping on laps.

The area is great, 8 mins walk to Oval station, lots of buses close by, a Tesco express/co-op/spar/convenience stores all 5 mins walk away, plus a large Tesco’s 15-20 mins away. Great pubs and food in nearby Brixton and Camberwell, it’s a safe area and in a kinda culdesac so not many cars going past.

We pay direct to the landlord, he requires proof of employment, previous reference and UK Guarantor. Sadly he doesn’t accept benefits. The home has 1 step plus a lip at the front and back door, 16 stairs to the upper level where the bedroom is. There is no buzzer or hearing adaptions.
