Room in Oval available for rent from May

Hi! I'm Hannah and from May I will have a spare room in the flat I'm currently living in as sadly my flatmate who I've lived with for many years is moving out.

The room is in a lovely split level flat on the third floor of a nice block of old townhouses on Brixton Road near to Oval station. There are two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and upstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining room and living area as well as a large balcony with views all the way to the City (just about!).

It's available from 20th May and rent is £1005 for a double room with a double bed, desk, chest of drawers, wardrobe, rug. All furniture was brand new 18 months ago. WiFi and hot water are included in the monthly rent but water, council tax (Lambeth - band C) and gas and electric are not.

The flat is recently renovated and there are currently building works being done to the whole block but these will be finished by the time you move in with the common areas in the building getting a nice refresh.

It's private landlords - they're a couple called John and Trish and they're lovely - which I know from personal experience is a big win in London.

It's just over 5mins walk to Oval tube station, 15mins walk to Stockwell tube, and 20mins walk to Vauxhall for the overground. It's a lovely village-y area, with nice cafes opposite, a Tesco less than 2mins away and Kennington Park right next door too.

You'd be living with me - I'm 27, work in PR, love exercise, travel, going for dinner and drinks, all the usual stuff! It's honestly such a lovely, cosy space. I love living here and I'm really looking for someone who will be a friend not just a housemate.
