The room available is really spacious and gets lots of natural light thanks to a Juliet balcony. It comes fully furnished with a nice chest of drawers and beside table, king size bed, reading chair and two small walk in wardrobes just in case you have loads of stuff. There is also a private access onto the main bathroom (kind of of like an ensuite but easier to explain when you see it)
The house is ideally located just a couple minutes walk from beautiful Burgess Park which has lots to offer; football, BMX track, The Deli Theatre, Gym equipment, Lake and peaceful cycle routes into nearby Bermondsey, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Elephant and Castle and Central London.
Vibrant Peckham High street is just a ten minutes walk away filled with great pubs, bars, restaurants, market and cinema. The area is filled with alternative art/music spaces underneath the nearby railway arches and the two dis-used multi-storey car parks which have been refurbished into rooftop bars, cafes, a nightclub and rooftop cinema.
Great transport links with Peckham Rye a 15 minute walk from the house with regular trains to:
London Bridge/Bankside (15 mins) for Borough Market, The Shard, Tate Modern Art Gallery and lots of bars, pubs, restaurants and theatres along The Cut.
Clapham Junction (15 mins) and Victoria (17 mins)
Shoreditch (25 mins) for lively places to go out in the evening. Blackfriars (26 mins) for St. Pauls Cathedral.
Bus and Tube routes can get you to Westminster in 30 mins for the houses of Parliament and Westminster Cathedral.
Excellent bus routes within a 5 minute walk of the house to Brixton (16 mins) and Tower Bridge (16 mins) for The Bridge Theatre, More London, St. Katherine's Dock and the Tower of London.
