I'm looking for someone to rent out a large ensuite furnished double room in my newly renovated flat just 3 minutes' walk to Queen's Road Peckham station (Zone 2; 10 minutes to London Bridge by train and 20 minutes to Shoreditch by Overground Windrush Line). Room comes with brand new bed, mattress, carpets, bedside table, lamp, built in cupboard and full 3 piece ensuite bathroom.
Looking for someone to stay for minimum of six months from end of May/beginning of June. Viewings from Thursday 30th April- Saturday 2nd of May.
The flat is in a quiet residential development and on the ground floor corner, so stays nice and cool but gets light from both West and North. It’s fully fitted with high speed broadband and all appliances (washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, combi microwave etc).
Rent is £1200 pcm not including bills. Bills (electricity/gas, water, broadband and council tax band C), and are likely to come to ~£150 per month per person (depending on usage). Boiler has just been serviced. Deposit is one month’s rent, held in a separate account. Work and personal references likely to be requested.
I'm ideally looking for a working professional who goes into the office a few days a week, and keeps regular hours: the flat works best as a calm, tidy space. I prefer to keep a pet-free household.

About me and what I’m looking for:
I've been living in London for 11 years with some breaks in between to travel and work abroad. In Peckham for the past 3 years and love the area- so many amazing restaurants, pubs, parks and shops. My favourite things to do are exploring the city, visiting galleries and watching cricket in the summer as well as cooking and going to the gym when home. I work in the office 2-3 days a week in Aldgate/Shoreditch in social impact and sustainability, so work from home some of the time. I don’t smoke and like to keep a tidy flat as well as reasonable hours.
I’m looking for a non-smoker who likes to keep a clean household, works in the office plenty of the time and also enjoys a combination of being out and about and home occasionally, enjoys TV in the evenings and good food as well. If you are good at keeping plants alive and can add books to the new bookshelf, even better.
The flat is recently renovated, so there is plenty of scope to make the space your own!
