Hello there I have large double bedroom to rent in this fantastic huge house in Putney!
A newly refurbished house In Putney with absolutely massive rooms, high ceilings and all new throughout and partly furnished. Washer and dryer in the utility room, gas central heating, super fast Broadband 70mbs+ double glazing and all bills are included (inc council tax) and just a small walk to the rivers edge. The house has loads of character and lots of nice features but you'll immediately be taken aback by the size of the rooms, the living room measures 18'x14' with a 10' high ceiling and the bedroom 15'x10' and a 9' high ceiling. Big kitchen diner good size bathroom and a large hallway with lots of storage. As I say everything is new, carpets, fixtures, newly decorated... It's basically nice and new throughout!
The photos don't really do the place justice and I'm getting lots of new furniture, big TV and just some nice house bits to make it more homely over the next few weeks, currently I live next door and am moving across to the new build at the end of the month (the landlord owns the whole building and is very nice). Please do ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer them x
So a little about your future flat mate I guess! Hello I'm Martyn, 42, I like a nice quiet, chilled and relaxed household. I like to cook and bake, I have a boss Kitchen Aide mixer, watch films (I'm a bit of a sci-fi geek) but love most genres, I like to exercise and sit on the sofa in equal measure, play some records (I have a fair vinyl collection, more about that in a minute), go for walks along the river, eating out, the pub, friends and socialising, having friends round for dinner and just generally enjoy living in London doing London stuff.
I'm self employed I teach Pilates in Chiswick on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and in the week I work in music (I'm not a musician) I work for a few record labels as a consultant specialising in vinyl reissues (hence the collection), working on bands repertoire and back catalogues, you know CD box sets, DVD/Blu-Rays and stuff like that.... Since Covid I've been working mostly from home I still teach Pilates at the studio over the river, so all good here!
Anyway I think that's about it so if you have any questions please fire away! Oh and about the flat, as I say I'm getting some new furniture in, tv and tv cabinet, I have a record player, speakers in the living room, lots of framed artwork to hang, the only things staying in the living room are the sofa's of which I have good covers for and the Ikea shelves everything else is going and I'll get a new coffee table, but if you have furniture then please bring it along and feel free to make your mark too..... I'm looking for a happy house, with a vibrant and respectful person and I can't wait to meet you!
If you fancy taking a poke around and coming to view why not drop me an email and tell me a bit about yourself☺️
