A bright and spacious double room is available in a relaxed, friendly flatshare in a lovely part of Putney. I’m moving out a little earlier than expected for personal reasons, so we’re looking for someone great to take over the room.

You’d be sharing with Luke, 31, a primary school teacher who also runs his own education camps business locally. He’s sociable, down to earth, and always up for cooking together, watching something in the evening, or grabbing a drink now and then, but he also respects quiet time and enjoys a chilled night in. The flat has a balanced, easy going atmosphere that suits someone who enjoys both their own space and the occasional chat or shared meal.

The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, and it has huge built in wardrobe space along one wall, giving you loads of storage without compromising the open feel of the room. There’s still plenty of space for a desk if you work from home or for any extra furniture you’d like to bring.

The flat itself is clean, peaceful and well kept. There’s a modern kitchen, a cosy living area, and a tidy bathroom. It’s in a quiet, family friendly part of Putney with a beautifully maintained communal garden, perfect for a morning coffee or some sun in warmer months. Putney Leisure Centre is next door, and several gyms are nearby too.

Location wise, everything is within easy reach:
• Newsagent just across the road
• Two Sainsbury’s Locals within 10 minutes’ walk
• Putney High Street, Putney Rail, and East Putney Tube are 10 to 15 minutes away
• Direct buses outside to Clapham Junction and South Kensington
• Cafés, shops, riverside walks and great local amenities all close by

Rent: £1,075 per month (heating and hot water included)
Bills: approx. £100 per month
