There are three bedrooms, open plan dining and living room, modern kitchen and good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath and a separate downstairs toilet. Although it says live-out Landlords we do come to London for a few days a month, so for 3 weeks out of 4 there would be just two of you sharing the house most of the time. But this does mean that the house is better maintained than most shared properties.
Transport & Shops:
7 min bus ride to Raynes Park Station – 20 mins to Waterloo every 3 to 4 mins
5 mins bus to South Merton Station trains to Blackfriars and Kings Cross
7 mins bus ride to Morden tube
Bus stop 2 mins from house and regular buses to Wimbledon (15 mins)
Short walk to Co-op and wide range of local shops and Waitrose and Tesco very close.

We are a friendly middle aged couple with interests in the Arts, politics and education. Margie is involved in local charities and Chris is a writer.
We are looking for mature housemates who will appreciate the quiet aspect and the opportunity for shared meals, friendly conversations and occasional sun-downer in the garden, but with your privacy totally respected if you prefer the quiet life.

I am so happy living at Derwent Road, SW20. The house is so well set up and equipped , and it really feels like a home, not just a digs. The location of the house is so convenient - accessible to a tube and national rail station, shops in 2 minute walking distance, and it's surrounded by loads of green spaces. My landlords are really brilliant - sorting things out efficiently and with consideration. The space in the rooms is completely ample- plenty of room for beds and boxes. It really lacks for nothing! I wish I could stay forever!
