Luxury High-Tech Flat at Royal Victoria Docks!

Thanks for checking out this listing. Up for rent is the second bedroom in our modern home. The flat is on the top floor of the 5 floor building and has a hall, a good sized lounge / diner, a kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a giant loft where you could store anything. The views from the rooms are beautiful, including the river Thames, the O2 arena, Royal Wharf and the docks.

We are really into gadgets and interior design. The flat is very tasteful and bright, and you can control the heating, lighting, front door and music through the ceiling speakers in any room straight from your phone.

The spare room is very bright and airy, with plenty of storage including a tall double wardrobe with drawers, an additional tall chest of drawers , 4 under-bed storage drawers, overhead cupboards above the bed and desk, and two bedside drawers.

As for the location , it's fantastic. It's at Royal Victoria Docks and is a 3 min walk to the DLR that is just one stop away from Canning Town on the Jubilee line , meaning you can be all over London in no time. The DLR also goes straight to Bank in just 17 minutes. The flat is also right by the water of the docks, so you can enjoy all the amenities that Royal Victoria Docks has to offer, such as a beautiful gold sand beach during summer, a bar boat, numerous restaurants and bars, the cable car going straight to the O2 with all it's restaurants and cinema, a Tesco, the Excel Exhibition Centre and much more. The neighborhood had a lovely marina feel to it.

The bills are included in thee rent (it breaks down at rent £620 and bills £130), and this covers everything you can think of - super fast fibre optic internet, Sky Q TV including unlimited Sky Box sets and Sky Movies, Gas, Electricity, Council Tax, Water. In addition we have Apple TV+, Netflix and Disney Plus. We can add you as a user to all the media services so that you can use them in your room as well as the lounge :).

As for the people you would be living with, my name is Adam and my husband is Daniel (from Cuba). We got married in August 2019 and both just turned 30 (what a great time to turn 30...!), and we are really friendly and fun, and love to socialise with our flatmate time to time - whilst also fully respecting their space. When rules permitted, we liked to go out, have a bit of fun in Soho from time to time, but also love a night in. We are neither party animals nor recluses!

I'm a TV Presenter and Daniel also works in media and we occasionally do a little commercial work together. When rules allow again, we like having friends over just occasionally from time to time and you'd be welcome to do the same of course! We are very neat and tidy so we would want someone who can also be that way - we keep the communal spaces really clean but of course your room is your space! We are always open to having a movie night in the lounge.

The room is ready for someone to move in from approx 1st April, give or take a few days. Our current flatmate Akeem is moving out to move in with his boyfriend, but he'll be happy to tell you how much he enjoyed living here!
