Cozy double room in Marchmont Street

Quiet room with window overlooking quiet area

Hello,

A bright double room is available and we are looking for a mature and respectful person to move in ASAP. Sadly our flatmate is leaving us for greener pastures so the room is up for grabs!

It is a double room for single use, facing a quiet courtyard and at this price it is really cheap for the area! You can walk pretty much anywhere in Zone 1 and there are amazing transport links - it is a 7min walk from Kings Cross station / Euston station and a 2min walk to Russell Square tube.

The current flatmates are two females working full-time. They have been in the flat for several years so it is really a home. The flat is kept extra clean - and we find that setting some rules at the start (basic respect like washing up dishes when you've finished cooking, wiping the side, etc) makes it much nicer for everybody to live. Please note there is no living room and no washing machine, but you have a launderette opposite the flat!

There are parks and sports facilities less than 1 minute walk in any direction. There are two Boris bike bays within 1 min. We even have a local Bowling and the British Museum within 5 minutes. On top of that, the Brunswick Centre (a shopping centre), with its massive Waitrose and a doctors surgery, is virtually next door, and there is a small 24/7 Tesco outside Russel Sq. tube. Generally, Marchmont Street is a quiet area with a few small restaurants and shops.

Past experience shows that it is difficult to differentiate between people who message us with interest (everybody says they are mature, clean, tidy – not always true, and into exploring London or sports). We get a lot of responses so please don't write to us to tell how great the area is, etc; instead tell us about yourself!

We love living here and we're both very happy. We'd like to find a mature, clean, respectful person who also wants to keep the harmony in the flat!
