Studio flat - Monday-Friday, 5 nights a week

This is a converted studio loft space a few minutes walk from Seven Sisters underground station on the Victoria Line. It takes 15 minutes by tube to get to Oxford Circus. Overground trains from Seven Sisters go to Liverpool Street. The space has a kitchenette (dishwasher, fridge, hot plates, small oven, washing machine) and bathroom. The entrance is through our house, but once you are up on the second-floor, it is completely self-contained. There is a comfy double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and chairs, sofa and TV. The wi-fi is good. All linen and towels provided, all bills included. We are a female couple in our 60s, both working freelance - one as a journalist, the other as a theatre professional. We are often out in the evening. Although we are advertising for a female, the male partners of our lodgers have often stayed with us when they were in London - we did not mind this at all. And we are open to occasional weekend stays, by arrangement only. We would also consider renting the space for fewer nights for less rent.

It is a short bus ride down to Stoke Newington / Dalston where there are heaps of restaurants and bars. Seven Sisters is beginning to develop its own nightlife - there are a couple of restaurants, and very good Colombian coffee. There are large supermarkets within walking distance, and local shops on Tottenham High Road. South Tottenham overground station is even closer to us than the tube, and there are numerous buses going north and into the centre of London.
