En-suite double room in spacious two bed

Hey, I’m Katie and I’m looking for a new housemate to take the larger double en-suite room in this lovely two bed flat.

My friend and I have been in the flat for two years and we love it, but sadly (for me) she’s off to live with her boyfriend in their own place.

I’m looking for a new flatmate who’s like minded, and likes to have a chilled, quiet home in balance with our busy day-to-day lives.

I’m pretty chilled at home - I like to have quiet nights in, but also occasionally like to host friends over for dinner or drinks. I’m clean, social, but like the space to be relaxing. Really up for doing stuff together in the local area - we have a great pub quiz up the road and a few evening life drawing classes that we’ve been to so far.

The flat itself is great. It’s light, super warm in the winter (literally have never put the heating on), and we have a balcony and shared roof terrace. We also have locked bike storage downstairs, and an option to pay extra for secure parking if needed.

There’s a small garden in the buildings car park for pets. Currently we have no pets but many people do in the building and my understanding is that we just need to ask for permission from the landlord (but it will likely be fine!)

Bills currently work out around £130 each pm but g&e should come down a little later this year.

Your room would have an en-suite with a shower, and the room itself is unfurnished but does have a built in wardrobe with mirror (it’s huge!). It also has a huge door out onto the balcony so you’ll get plenty of light. Currently the room fits a double bed, two side tables, a desk and chair, a chest of drawers and a TV so it's roomy.

We have a big spacious kitchen and living area - most of the current furniture will stay so it’ll be broadly the same as the pictures, but if you have some of your own furniture there's space for that too.

Also I'm queer and neurodivergent, so a very friendly household on both of those fronts, and would be looking for a flatmate who is too.

Accessibility: there is a lift. No stairs required however there are a few heavy doors to get into the building. Small step into the shower. The hallway into the bedroom may be tight for a wheelchair for example, so let me know if you'd like measurements.
