We have one East-facing bright double room with a huge window available from 1st April or earlier.
-----
We've got a homely space that we all really enjoy and we're looking for a fun soul to join us in our well-connected warehouse conversion in Seven Sisters/Tottenham Hale. Close to overground/Victoria Line, the leafy surrounds of Markfield park and canals nearby, with some fun bars and venues on your doorstep.
The space is a nice size to work in, play in, have dinner parties, make stuff in, and the room is also large enough for hobbies/making, depending on what you're up to. The flat has a spacious communal living area featuring high ceilings and lots of light.
The kitchen's great, there's space for bikes and we have a balcony that makes life excellent come summer time.
The room is bright and airy on the first floor, it comes partially furnished (bed frame, desk and chair, bedside table and clothing rail).
The Hackney/Tottenham marshes, River Lea, Big Tesco & Lidl, are all on our doorstep and it's 10 mins walk to Seven Sisters station (Victoria line) and Tottenham Hale (Greateranglia and Victoria line), which is 15 minutes from Liverpool St or Stratford, and 30 from Stansted Airport.
*£1012/month* including all bills (fixed rate, so nice and cosy over winter), a weekly cleaner and money towards shared house stuff (we share lots of things).
In terms of accessibility, given it is a warehouse conversion the property falls short of modern standards. We’re located in a gated area off the main road with a real sense of community. There is an intercom. There are 12 steps up to the property, which is set across two floors. The main living space and bathroom are set across one room but there is a small lip between the kitchen and living room area.
👥 Us —
We are a group of friends (25-34) who bring together unique backgrounds and interests, creating a lively and social living environment. Our home is filled with creativity, and plenty of good times.
We love exploring London's cultural sights and sounds, but are also professional and clean, with most of us working 9-5.
Whether it's whipping up delicious meals, boardgames, going out, skateboarding, or enjoying a good reality TV show, we always find ways to connect and have fun. Unlike many areas in London, you’ll feel part of a community living here, and we’re friends with our neighbours on all sides. We’re queer friendly and expect you to be the same.
Also we have a part-time cat, Elaine, who loves a treat and dictates when you can pet her.
👉 You —
Hopefully you want a home more than a house. Up for getting involved in nights out and dinner parties with our wonderful eclectic group of friends. This is a homely place and we socialise and go to gigs/movies/bars/galleries together. You must be clean and financially organised/prompt. Good communication goes a long way also.
We are ideally looking for another woman to join and keep the balance.
No couples or pets please.
Please message with some more info about you (incl. age, interests, job etc etc) and your contact details if you're interested in a viewing.
