This is a bright, single room in a shared house with generous shared spaces and facilities The house is well placed for public transport (Aldgate East, Tower Hill and Shadwell all within 10 min walk). There is easy access to the cycle highway along Cable Street and an enclosed garden to keep a bicycle safe. There are two excellent council run sports centres nearby - one with an olympic size swimming pool - as well as a private up-market gym 10 min away. Several supermarkets and a street market within 10 min walk.
The window in the available room overlooks a quiet walkway and other terraced houses' back gardens. The room is fully furnished with a 2-year old 2x1 m single bed, small wardrobe, shelves, a bit of additional storage.
The owners of the property stays in a self-contained annexe in the garden Monday - Thursday and you will not see them much. The main house is shared between four. There is a generous lounge with large TV and sound system. The recently refurbished kitchen-diner is equipped with washing machine and tumble drier. Gas central heating with radiators in all rooms. One room has an en-suite bathroom, the other three share one modern bathroom with shower over bath. There is an additional toilet downstairs. All bills incl. broadband are included. Proffessional cleaning of shared spaces every other week included. There are two work spaces in the house to facilitate working from home. The enclosed, locked garden is equipped with chairs, table and a barbeque and is a lovely space in Summer to be used by everybody.
The three remaining residents in the house are one British and two EU nationals. The owners are British/EU national. All are graduates and in professional jobs. They are all busy with with work, sportive and cultural interests, but keep a clean and tidy house.
We are looking for a professional, who will fit in and contribute to the running and social life of the house; somebody who will enjoy the occasional shared meal or drink with the rest of the residents and who will be happy turning over the latest news, football results, films or theatre productions and share their passions with the others.
