A friendly and ‘with it’ lady person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including picking up shopping, cooking four or five meals and eating with her each week, a friendly chat over a cup of tea/coffee, going for a short walk a couple of times a week, help with admin/simple tech (iPad), ad hoc errands, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a single/small double bedroom with a single or small double bed (bed to be bought). The bathroom is shared and has a bath with over-bath shower hose. The Sharer can also use the kitchen and sitting room.

The property is conveniently located in Shepherd’s Bush, just 5 minutes’ walk from Shepherd’s Bush Station (Underground – Hammersmith & City Line; Overground), many bus routes, and also Westfield Shopping Centre.

The person has a very good memory and is interesting and easy-to-talk-to. Their interests include reading the Telegraph, crosswords, playing Scrabble and card games, listening to Radio 3 and watching TV. They also enjoy reading books.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests and would enjoy playing the occasional game of Scrabble or cards.
