Single Room in Shoreditch Ex-Warehouse Flat

Upstairs Kitchen Area

I'm looking for a new flatmate from the beginning of February as my current flatmate will be finishing his studies and returning home.

I'm 24 and work regular hours Monday to Friday. I tend to be here during weeknights and at weekends. Up for watching TV and chatting/cooking together in the evenings if you're into that but equally respectful if you want your own space.

The cost will be £825 including all bills (council tax, gas & electricity, water, TV License, broadband)

The flat is across 2 floors, with the living room and bedrooms below the ground floor, and the kitchen and entrance on the ground floor.

The kitchen is on a mezzanine so there are windows to light up the living room.

Both bedrooms have double beds, although the room offered only has a small double.

PROS

Great location - you're really close to loads of things
Short commute - 10-30 min walk to most places in the city, 6 min walk to Old Street, 10 min walk to Liverpool Street
Two big shared spaces - both the living room and kitchen are big and good for hanging out in
Cool flat - visitors will be impressed
Reasonably Quiet - For the location, the flat is actually fairly quiet as its off the main road

CONS

Smallish bedroom - There's space for everything you need (bed, mirror, wardrobe) but not much extra floor space.
The bedroom has no windows as it's under the mezzanine (hopefully the living spaces make up for this)
Bathroom - The bathroom is actually built under the road, so the shower is a bit cramped, but you get used to it and it's a powerful shower

I'm fairly easy going about who moves in with us, as long as you are reasonably tidy.

There is a deposit of one month's rent & bills but no moving in fee. I have a contract to rent the flat until the end of June 2019 so the room is guaranteed until then.
