Hi! I’m sadly moving out of this lovely flat as I’ve recently secured a new job further out of the city. Living here has genuinely been a joy – the location is incredibly convenient, but the flat itself feels like a calm, peaceful haven in the middle of London.
We’re looking for a working professional female to take the room (no couples, sorry).
🏡 The Flat & Atmosphere:
The flat is shared with three friendly, respectful women – all working professionals. Two work from home (in tech), and one works in concierge in the city.
We’re all quite independent but have the occasional chat – it’s a quiet, relaxed home, so it would suit someone who enjoys a peaceful environment rather than a party house.
We also keep the flat clean and tidy between us, with a simple weekly cleaning rota, so ideally looking for someone who is considerate and happy to contribute to that.
📍 Location (honestly hard to beat):
This is about as central as it gets in Southwark / SE1:
• 1 min walk to Southwark Station (Jubilee line)
• 1 min walk to Waterloo East
• 8 min walk to Waterloo (Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern & Waterloo & City lines)
• Easy walk to Blackfriars
There are also great bus links just around the corner.
Despite being so central, the flat overlooks Nelson Square, a small green space with beautiful trees and even a basketball court – it really adds a sense of calm.
🌿 The Room:
• Bright double room
• Brand new bed and carpet
• Recently redecorated
🍳 Kitchen & Bathroom:
• Fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, air fryer, and large fridge
• You’ll have your own cupboard – great if you enjoy cooking
Bathroom is split:
• Separate toilet
• Shower room with newly fitted electric shower
🏢 Building:
• Very well maintained and secure
• Fob entry system
• Lovely communal areas with plants
🛍️ Local Area:
Everything you need is on your doorstep:
• 24-hour shop across the road
• Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Pret
• Great pubs and restaurants nearby
• Close to The Cut/ Bankside
💰 Practical Details:
• Bills approx. £75–£90 per month
• Landlord is responsive, reasonable, and has a reliable handyman if needed
• Students considered, but would need to cover council tax
💛 Final note:
It’s been such a great place to live – especially if you want a central location with a surprisingly calm, homely feel.
