Whitehouse Apartments, on the Southbank

I am leaving my lovely room, which means it will be available for a new very lucky tenant! The room is in a one bedroom flat, which is a larger than average one bedroom for the Whitehouse apartments. I share with one other, she has the original living room as her bedroom which means there is no living space, keeping costs down for this central location.

My housemate Viktoriya, does however have a sofa in her room which we often chill out on for a chat/glass of wine. There is also a small table and chairs in the kitchen, so will be space to hang out in outside of your bedroom. With the location and fantastic facilities though, there are many reasons to be out of the apartment!

The Whitehouse apartments are situated directly opposite the Royal Festival Hall, and a stones throw away from the beautiful Southbank! We are a 10 minute walk to Covent Garden in one direction and Borough Market in the other! This is a hub for public transport links with Waterloo station literally on your doorstep, and an array of buses to numerous locations all around. The apartments have a 24 hour concierge and underground parking.

The facilities in the building are for residents use only and include; heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym, gated gardens, and the most amazing part for me is the amazing roof terrace, it is huge and always impresses friends when they have been to visit!

The room itself includes a double bed, two bedside chests of drawers, triple fitted wardrobes that go all the way up to the ceiling, a full length mirror with shelving behind it, and a huge bay window. There is a large hallway with another two storage cupboards! The room is carpeted, but the rest of the property is wooden flooring in the hallway, and tiles in the kitchen and bathroom.

The rent does not include council tax, so this would be an extra  £110 per month. Water bills are included in the rent and the electricity bill comes at a reduced rate of half price and you will be billed at the end of each year.

Wiktoriya, my housemate will be staying at the property and you would be signing up for 6 months, with the opportunity to extend for longer if you wish. Wiktoriya is a wonderful housemate! Very clean and tidy and very respectful. She likes going to the gym, watching movies and nights in and out. We hang out, often over a glass of wine, but also respect one another's space. A great balance for a flat share!
