It’s right opposite Victoria Park with a park behind (good for joggers), easily accessible to the City and Docklands and about 20 mins from the city centre by Tube, bus or bike. A Victorian terraced house with nice old features but also useful fibre broadband, central heating throughout, washing machine, two separate kitchens, three loos etc so it’s quite comfortable. The room is well maintained with plenty of shelving, desk, wardrobe, bed, bedding and washbasin. It looks out over the Common at the back of the house – a cosy, quiet room. The rent covers all bills including council tax .
I'm the live-in landlord, a tv journalist last working at the BBC. Also here is Mario (Spanish) and Swaral (Indian).
More info about the house: street parking outside. It's a short walk to catch direct buses to the City or Docklands. We are a few minutes from Mile End Tube station and Homerton overground. No smokers or pets please. We have a nice little back garden opening out on the park. Local amenities include bars, restaurants, shops, taxis, gym, lido, cool Broadway Market and Victoria Park Farmers' Market.
I'd like to find a responsible but sociable person, professional non-smoker. Definitely not wild party people but we're definitely friendly so do come and have a look if you’re interested.
