Huge bright room in leafy Hampstead,

Hello all - our beloved friend and housemate Mariana is moving out and we're looking for someone to take her room in our beautiful and characterful flat.

It's very spacious by average London standards, and part of a lovely Edwardian building in a quiet and leafy street.

You will be sharing Rose and Claudia, both journalists, and Pushkin the cat. Claudia works as a TV producer and Rose is freelance and also has a vintage clothes side hustle. We like to think we are a friendly and inclusive house who enjoy spending time together but are also happy doing our own thing, so would want to find someone similar.

The room available is south facing and has a balcony, so it's very light and airy. The living/kitchen area is spacious and we often have good chats while cooking and sometimes watch something together in the evening. Every so often we have dinner with our neighbours - although not during lockdown - who are good friends (and there is a friendly dog in the building too!). Ideally we're looking for a mature, sociable, creative and easygoing flatmate who is tidy and clean and might share some of our interests in other cultures, politics, food, and art.

Claudia works as a producer so has been working from the office most of the time, mostly working evening shifts (2pm to 10 pm) while Rose works from home. Our approach to COVID has generally been cautious - so we haven't been having people in the house during lockdown - but that said we aren't over-zealous, so would like our new flatmate to be on the same page.

The rent is a £7750 a month without bills. Council tax is about £69 a month on top of that per person than we have usual water, electric, gas and broadband.

There are plenty of nearby transport links. Finchley road on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines are under ten minutes walk, South Hampstead Overground is 5 minutes, West Hampstead Thameslink and Overground are about a ten minutes walk in the other direction.

Looking for someone to move in by 27th March latest, but would prefer to fill the room by the end of Feb, which is coming up fast so we intend to do video viewings asap.
