The flat:

The basement level of a beautiful period conversion in one of the nicest areas of South Kensington, with its own separate entrance. Inside the flat is modern and incredibly spacious (around 1,200 sq ft) throughout.

Large kitchen (including dishwasher), decent-sized living room, utility room with washing machine and dryer, guest WC, and two huge bedrooms, each with en suite and walk-in wardrobe area. There is a good-sized courtyard to the rear of the property, which is shared with neighbours.

The room will come unfurnished, unless my current flat mate can be persuaded to leave some of his furniture.

The area is pretty quiet and residential but, being in the heart of South Kensington, is also a stone's throw away from restaurants, bars, public transport, etc. 15 min walk to Hyde Park, similar to the Thames.

Available from 7 April (or potentially earlier, for the right person and assuming reference checks are all passed).

Your new flat mate (me):

Pretty quiet, extremely tidy (looking for the same from you). Totally happy in my own company, but would be a bonus to find somebody who becomes a friend as well. I'm very passionate about fitness, but eat like a horse. As such, I do enjoy cooking, especially when it's not just me eating! I'm a finance professional, currently freelance (so I do work from home a fair bit).
