PLEASE READ!! This ad is a Monday to Friday let, for professionals who don’t wish to commute daily into London, and of course have the ability to leave things in the room over the weekend etc. - the room is priced as such. Please make it clear in your message or profile that you are looking for a mon-fri let.

I’m looking for a part-time lodger to fill my spare room during the week! Kitchen, dining area and bathroom are shared and you’ll have space in kitchen cupboards/fridge etc if needed.

The room itself is a good size double (a little over 3.5m x 2.6m), in the past it was used as a home office, but now I usually work in the office. In terms of furnishing it has a wardrobe/shelf unit thing, chest of drawers, desk, new double bed, and a bedside table. Happy to rejig/add/remove things if needed! The room has blackout blinds and does not face the street - so very quiet.

On to the house itself...upstairs is a shared bathroom, my room, and what would be your room. Downstairs is the kitchen/diner that you are welcome to use. Kitchen has a full American fridge/freezer with plenty of space for you to store stuff if needed.

The house is less than 10 minutes walk from Seven Sisters Station and 15-20 min walk Tottenham Hale, so pretty well connected. It’s on a lovely quiet street with no through traffic.

I have a lovely cat here! Mittens will both want your affection and shun you at the same time. He mostly plods around in search of his next meal and is very well behaved. I have the burden & pleasure of his general care but you are welcome to give him pets etc ☺️

A bit about me, my name is Howard, 39/m and work in IT. I’ve lived here for nearly 8 years and love it here. I smoke sometimes, but not in the house, so if you smoke that’s fine, I just ask the same and keep it to the garden! I shower at work so I'm pretty much out the door and the bathroom is yours. I'm looking for someone polite/considerate/tidy firstmost!

Bills & internet (2.5gbps with great wifi) included.

The room is technically currently tenanted, however it can be made available reasonably quickly as the existing tenant no longer works in London and handed their notice in recently. Price is all inclusive for a Monday to Friday let (ie 4 nights a week). There is flexibility on price if you don't need it for the full M-F so please don’t hesitate to drop me a message! Price is per month and allows you to leave stuff whilst you are not here - the room is 100% yours even when you are away.

Whilst it's listed as a m-f let, I am happy to consider short term (1-3 months) full-time lets for £1000 a month for the right person. Short term is <3 months, with either of us having the ability to end at any time (ie with 1 month notice). If that's you, please get in touch saying you are interested in short term, and we can figure something out!
