Lovely double-bedroom available in our tranquil top maisonette in Seven Sisters/South Tottenham, sharing with two other professionals.

THE ROOM
Self-contained studio vibes - bright high-spec loft conversion, with full-height sliding windows and Juliet balcony (south facing). It’s a good size, 15sqm floor area plus storage (peaks to a 7ft ceiling height so may not be suitable for someone over 6ft). You’re own compact but full-spec bathroom on the landing.

Unfurnished and may need some more short/horizontal, nifty storage solutions – have a look at what the previous tenant did to make best use of the space with multiple furniture pieces. Possible option to have a bedframe supplied.

Room cost inc weekly cleaner (common areas only). All other utility bills split between the two rental rooms: Zoe and 2nd tenant. Council Tax Band C.

WHO WE’D LOVE TO FIND
We're looking for a professional or mature student (35 yrs+) who will fit into our peaceful home.

We are friendly, mature, communicative adults! We really enjoy each other's company, fitting it around our separate lives here. If you love a chinwag, a shared meal but respect each other's sleep and work commitments we’d live in harmony 😊

At present Zoe predominantly WFH and is a homebody. Swapping her early days of hedonism for simple pleasures and the quiet life. Heavy drinking or otherwise doesn’t go down in our place. We mainly socialise outside of the home and check with each other in good time if someone else will be in the house other than ourselves.

We’re an eco-friendly, budget savvy house and we tick as many boxes as possible to be so (we use eco products and are conscious of our energy consumption.)

THE MAISONETTE
There is a bright shared living/dining and kitchen area on the floor with the two other bedrooms. Small south facing rear garden with deck for BBQs and chilling in the sun. Space for one additional bike in the entrance hall.

Accessibility: multiple flights of stairs; a moderate flight to get up into the property and a narrow-ish winding flight up to the loft bedroom. Another fairly steep flight down to the back garden.

ABOUT US
Zoe 37: WFH freelancer, yoga and meditation teacher. You will be predominantly living with me. Comedy nerd. Cook everyday. I’m into cosmology and come with a telescope. I’m a ferocious non-fiction reader, have an insatiable love of learning and study around work. Big on pods and listen to all of the music. I practice yoga and meditation daily and exercise on the reg. I am a considerate and responsible person. Clean, tidy and quiet. I value inclusion, diversity and divergent thinking from all walks of life. I’m an advocate for LGBTQ+, mental health awareness and human rights (I used to work for Amnesty International).

THE AREA
Nature: Woodberry reservoirs, the New River and the River Lee all within walking distance. Green space in every direction: Clissold, Finsbury, Springfield Park – and slightly further afield Walthamstow Wetlands.

Restaurants/Cafes: West Green Rd, Green Lanes, Church St and Lower Clapton close by (20mins)

Nearest big supermarkets: Haringey retail park for Aldi and Sainsburys. Tesco in Tottenham (all 15mins walk), smaller Sainsburys local at Woodberry Downs (10mins).

Travel: the area is very well connected; it’s a short walk to Seven Sisters/Manor House tubes (10/15mins) and Stamford Hill and South Tottenham Overground stations (10/15mins). Local buses run direct to Kings Cross, Euston, Hackney and Aldgate.
There is also on-street parking with a resident’s permit available.
