King bed, private office/lounge & private bathroom

ABOUT US: My boyfriend and I live in a beautiful 3 bedroom house in Wimbledon and we are looking for a housemate. I am a lawyer in the City (age 32) and my boyfriend (35) works in aerospace security. Our last lodger had a 6 month secondment in London and joined us a few weeks before lockdown. Our house is big enough for 3 people to have their own room to work in, so we were very comfortable all working from home. (See more details below).

YOU: We are looking for a considerate, tidy and easy going professional age 30+. We are a fun loving couple who like to enjoy a glass of wine in the garden after work and cook nice things. The type of person we are after would be welcome to join us.

YOUR SPACE: We are renting out the first floor of our house which includes: 1) a bedroom with a king size bed (with a large built in wardrobe), 2) a FAMILY size bathroom (we never use this), and 3) your own lounge/office with desk and sofa. Your bedroom, bathroom and lounge/office are all based on the first floor – so you will essentially have a floor of the house all to yourself. This makes any working from home comfortable and convenient as my boyfriend and I work from home in separate rooms on the ground floor.

THE REST OF THE HOUSE: The house was recently extended, so we have a stunning new open plan kitchen with bifold doors that lead into the good size garden. The garden is equip with garden furniture and a BBQ. We have Sky (including cinema and sports), Netflix, and Amazon Prime on our new 50 inch TV. The dining table seats 6 and all windows are double glazed. Parking outside the house is available if you apply for a permit from Merton council.

LOCATION: The house is a 5 minute walk to South Wimbledon tube station which is on the Northern line which runs 24/7. To get into the City (Bank station) it takes 25 minutes while on the tube. It's also a 15 minute walk into Wimbledon town centre, or a 6 minute bus ride. It's 10 minute car journey to the All England Tennis Club. For any doctors out there, we are also really close to St Georges hospital.

THE PRICE: The price is £1,050 all in. This includes a cleaner that comes fortnightly, Sky TV, utility bills and council tax.
