Quiet house share, good connection City & West End

Ad ref# 13594627

Hi - I’m Paul, looking for a new housemate to join me and Ollie, my 13-year-old dachshund, at my house in a quiet cul-de-sac between Kennington and Burgess Parks.

The house is over 3 floors so feels quite spacious: sitting room with dining area, kitchen and laundry rooms on the ground floor, my bedroom & my bathroom on the first floor and on the top floor is your bedroom and en-suite. Clean & tidy and nicely furnished throughout. Cleaner comes 4 times a month to make sure everything stays that way, payment is included in the rent.

The room to let is a good-size double, right at the top of the house. Previous housemates have really enjoyed having the entire floor to themselves, up where no one will disturb them. It has a comfortable double bed, flat-screen TV, large chest of drawers, desk with chair and loads of wardrobe space. The en-suite is really nice, too, and has a great shower.
Trust me, you’ll love it!

A little about me, I work in events so my schedule is never the same from one week to the next. Also have other commitments so I’m sometimes out the house a lot, working long days and nights, including some weekends. In short, I have a hectic life. So when I’m at home I ‘really’ need some peace and quiet, just watching the TV with Ollie. That’s partly why I’ve made the top-floor suite so nice. It’s not to say that I never want to see you - far from it - just i’ve found it useful to let housemates know my work schedule, so they can plan around it.
It’s all about consideration for each other.

I’ve had housemates since I bought the house 25 years ago and I pride myself that most have stayed on for many years. I like to think that’s because the house is nice and that I’m a decent guy - and thats exactly what I look for in a housemate. I want someone who cleans up after themselves, who not only wants to come back to a clean home, but also wants ‘me’ to come back to a clean home. I also need a housemate who enjoys peace and quiet.

You’ll also need to like dogs, particularly dachshunds - and particularly lil’ Ollie, because he will want plenty of belly rubs when he gets to know you! He’s totally adorable, but I would say that!

If you think you’re the right person please get in touch. Thanks, Paul.
