Large top floor room in Kennington house

Hello!

One of our housemates has left London due to Covid, so we have one room available in our beautiful house in Kennington. The house is spacious, with a large private backyard (where bikes could also be stored) and a shared living room. In addition, the house is in a gated development and has 2 free parking spots.

Each floor has two rooms and a bathroom, with another toilet on the main floor. The room available is on the top floor, which is shared with one other female, and has a shared bathroom that’s accessible directly from both rooms (with locks of course!). The room has a double bed, wall-to-wall closet, and some shelves. There is not a desk in the room currently, but one could be added.

The existing tenants are all lovely, respectful, tidy, and fun to be around! Peter is a PhD student at King’s, Josh is a PhD student at UCL, Katie is doing her Postdoc at King’s, and I (Megan) am an actress studying at drama school. We are all quite busy, but do enjoy playing some games now and again. :)

The room is £780/per month for rent, and the bills are estimated around £80/per month (water, council tax, and gas/electricity), depending on season. Internet is included in the rent, and there’s a deposit of £780.

We’ve been living here since 2018 and really enjoy the house, we have been trying to take as good care of it as we can, and have made some improvements, especially in the backyard. The area has many parks around, is close to two tube stations, has smaller grocery stores very nearby, with larger ones only about a 15 minute walk. Very central location with easy access to the rest of London.
