Lovely quiet double room in leafy green St.Johns

Hello,
We are looking for a new housemate (female) to fill a room in our house in St John’s, Deptford. Please read the info below and if you are interested, please message me telling us a bit about yourself… age, job, interests, etc - Cheers!

We are looking for:
A friendly, quiet and respectful woman aged 28-38 who can commit to at least 1 year. The move-in date is around Saturday 4th May. Viewings will aim to be on 20 to the 24th April. (Any profiles without profile pics or bios will be assumed to be bots, and ignored).

The room:
This is a double-bed room on the ground floor in a semi-detached Victorian house. The room and the area is very quiet and peaceful as we are on a cul-de-sac, with no traffic related noise/pollution. The room comes furnished.

The house:
You will be sharing with 4 other people (5 in total, including one couple.) We are aged between 27 – 35 and looking for someone in this age range. We are 2 girls and 2 guys and are seeking another woman. You will be sharing a bathroom with 3 other people. We have a living room, kitchen and garden as shared space. We plan to bring the garden back to its former glory in time for
the summer, so if you’re green fingered and want to get involved, you will be more than welcome to!
We have a fairly basic cleaning rota to keep the shared spaces clean and tidy, the kitchen gets a deep clean 1 x per week, and the floors every 2 weeks, which we rotate between us. As we are 5 in the house it's really important that shared spaces are left super clean and tidy, so someone who is thoughtful and
conscientious about shared living would fit in well here.

We try to recycle most of our waste, including food and soft plastic, so we want someone who cares about sustainable living and who is mindful of their energy use and reducing
waste.

This would not just be a room in a house, this would become your
home, so any home improvement ideas or your thoughts on ways to make the house better for everyone would be encouraged :)

Who we are:
We all met through living here (apart from the couple) and have a nice balance of privacy and socialising together, whether it's just chats in the kitchen or the occasional pub visit. We have a mix of jobs from teacher, electrician to working in marketing and podcasting. We are a friendly house, but not a party house,
so someone who prefers a quiet and peaceful place to live in would be ideal.

The area:
St John’s is a lovely quiet residential area, with Victorian housing and a good community feel. Some of our neighbours have been in the area for over 30 years, and characteristic of south London there’s a rich tapestry of people here. We are 3 minutes’ walk from St Johns train station which has great links to London Bridge (8 mins) and Cannon St (12 mins).

We are situated between Deptford and Brockley and close to some gorgeous green spaces such as Blackheath, Greenwich Park and Hilly Fields, and the nearby DLR station runs to Canary Wharf and Bank, via Greenwich.
There is a Saturday farmer’s market nearby and a small park at the bottom of our road where you can see herons and the occasional kingfisher!
Deptford has great pubs and cafes which are a 15-minute walk away and there are plenty of bus routes nearby.

We will also have a small kitten joining us soon, (owned by the couple), so someone who is cat-friendly would be good!
