The Flat: Large three double bedroom flat across one floor with spacious living room, separate well equipped kitchen, one bathroom and direct access to private garden.

Furniture: Room is unfurnished, but we have furnished the rest of the flat & our current housemate may be selling bed & mattress if interested.

Housemates: 2 flatmates Savanah (Female, 35, Interior Designer) and Mai (Female, 32, Sales Manager working in beauty). We met as flatmates in this flat and have lived here for a year.

* No pets (landlord’s policy, not ours. Am sure your dog is lovely but this is fixed).

The Flat & Room:
 
The room is very spacious and bright with large bay window and gets lovely natural light.

The flat is on the ground floor of a house on a quiet street with high ceilings and wood floors.
It’s super light and airy with a lovely private garden - great for chilled summer bbq's and enjoying the morning sun.

About us:
 
We both enjoy a healthy mix of nights out and in, being social as well as having time to relax & recharge especially as we both have pretty demanding jobs and busy social lives. We like to catch up after work with the TV on and have the occasional bottle of wine or meal together, but equally enjoy our own space and lead separate lives so would be looking for someone to join in with this dynamic!

Savanah: I'm a 35 year old from Wales, I work in Islington as an Interior Designer, fulltime in the office. I enjoy being active & exploring, cooking, a glass of wine or two, drink wayyy too much tea, love a sunny beer garden.
 
Mai: I'm 32, from London, and am sales manager for a beauty brand and am also mainly office based. I'm big into film, music, theatre, coffee, pasta, being outdoors, nice pubs and buying overpriced scented candles.

Looking For:
 
A guy or girl at a similar age and at a similar stage in life. Someone social & chilled who’s looking for a friendly & fun home but who also enjoys their own space.

Ideally looking for someone who also works predominantly away from the house/a mix and wants a home to enjoy rather than another office so is happy to keep the living room free from zoom calls.

Whilst we have the occasional gathering we mainly keep our social lives out of the house so that we don’t impose on each other too much in the communal spaces and so it’s important whoever moves in is on same page.

The Area:
 
A 10-15 minute walk to Stoke Newington Church Street, Clissold Park, Finsbury Parkland Walk as well as Woodberry Wetlands/reservoir very close by for a great mix of pubs, restaurants, independent shops and cafes along with green spaces.
 
Transport:
 
Nearest stations are Stamford Hill Overground with trains to Liverpool St, Manor House Piccadilly Line, Seven Sisters Victoria Line or Finsbury Park Victoria Line & National rail, as well as lots of great bus routes.

Shops:

Close to two big Sainsbury's, Aldi and a Morrisons, as well as a small Sainsbury's, со-ор and local corner shops.

Cleaning:

In terms of cleaning, chores etc we keep the flat clean and tidy and all get stuck in and pull our weight equally with this rather than having a cleaning rota. We also put about a fiver each into a house kitty each month to pay for cleaning supplies etc.

Neighbours:

We have two upstairs neighbours on the 1st & 2nd floor who have separate access to their flats and garden and so we barely see them but they are very nice when we do!

Parking:

One parking space available on private driveway (shared with upstairs) and residents parking permit available.

VIEWINGS:

We will be holding viewings over the next week or so in the evenings from 6:30pm onwards. Please note that we cannot do any time earlier than 6:30 because of work.
