Large Double Room in Bethnal Green/Stepney Green

A large Double Room with very convenient transportations in the heart of East London E1 - In between Bethnal Green and Stepney Green areas.

I love the house, housemates and my room but sadly, due to some personal issues, I need to leave London for a while, so I am subletting my room to you :) If you like the artistic and creative vibe of East London, you will love it here!

*The rent is 996 pounds per month, and the deposit is one month's rent, 996 pounds (holding deposit is 230 pounds to rescue the room, and will be part of the full deposit when you sign the contract) . All bills included except some gas and electricity are by top-up metre, approximately 12 pounds per person per month in winter, and 5 pounds per person per month in summer.

The contract will be from 4th May to 3rd Sep (4 months), you will directly sign the contract with the agency. if you want to continue the lease in the future, you can renew it with the agency. I am leaving at the end of April, I have already paid the rent till the 3rd of May, so welcome to come and live earlier if you want.

The entire house is on the second and third floors with an interior staircase, the kitchen is on the 2nd floor, and the toilet and bathroom are on the 3rd floor. Lots of cabinets for storage.

Your room is on the 3rd floor, it is pretty spacious, suitable for working from home and spacious enough for some yoga mat exercise. Has two windows, the ventilation is very good, and facing the lawn. Comes with a double bed, chest of drawers, closet, working desk and chair. Large storage space underneath the bed.

I am leaving in a bit of a rush, so ideally is to find someone who are willing to take all my homeware and household items for all 350 pounds. (large full-length mirror, projector, rug, laundry rack, laundry basket, Ariel washing capsules, lamp, lampshade, hair dryer, pillows and duvet, scent candles, dried flowers, yoga mat, yoga roller, weight scale, hangers, steam iron, small rubbish bin, extension cables, kettle, toaster, blender, kitchenwares, Brita water filter jar, flower vases, containers...etc.) They are all in very good condition, you literally can move in directly ;)

The house is located in a very lively area and is quiet at night. 25min walking distance to Brick Lane Shoreditch, 28min walking to both Columbia Road Flower Market and Broadway Market, and 17 minutes walking to Victoria Park. There are many coffee shops and gyms around.

You will be living with three boys (20-29yo, a mix of student and professional), they are all very nice. We often chat while cooking in the kitchen. Everyone's schedules are quite scattered and busy, so it's hard to bump into each other.

There is a house cleaning for the common area once every two weeks and is included in the rent.
