The Room

Fully furnished room available in two-bed, first floor flat, minutes away from Stockwell tube station, and available for the beginning of October.

The room is bright with a double bed, large wardrobe with hangers and drawers, and bedside table. The room is quiet and rear-facing, overlooking the communal garden.

The flat has a kitchen done to a high standard, featuring a large fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, and dishwasher. The bathroom has a rain showerhead with a screened wet room. The living room has cosy a comfy sofa, dining table and with a floor-to-ceiling shelves with plenty of storage underneath, which you are free to use. If you work from home, then you can work in here by yourself during the day.

About Me: I'm originally from Leicestershire but I have been living in London for 7 years working in Digital Marketing. I'm friendly and sociable, enjoy catching up with friends and watching comedy/theatre. I often watch sport, so you are welcome to join... or ignore! I regularly go back to Leicester at the weekends, so you'll have the flat to yourself from time-to-time.

The flat is well equipped with almost everything you will need to move straight in. The main need to provide are items for your own room, such as bedding & towels but i'm happy for you to move items into the communal spaces.

The location: 5-minute walk from Stockwell tube station, (Northern and Victoria lines). Nearby bus stops go to Clapham Junction, Oval/Vauxhall, and Clapham/Balham. There is a Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose within walking distance, with Larkhall Park only minutes away and a fantastic pub just 30 seconds away.

The fine print: Private landlord (my brother), with rent due in full on the 1st of every month by standing order. Rent costs should be held for approximately 12 months.

All bills are shared with me and come to around £150-200 a month.

Car: You can buy on street parking from the council.

My current flatmate is moving out for the end of September, but this might be brought forward, with latest move-in of first week of October. I will be looking to interview and choose during September.
