Hi! I’m looking for someone to rent my spare room either short term or long term. I’m usually not living there so you’ll have the place to yourself but I’ll keep my bedroom locked as a place to keep my stuff. Bills & wifi are included in the price.
The bedroom:
The bright double bedroom has a king sized bed, blackout curtains, wardrobe and chest of drawers with one door to your own large bathroom and another door opening to the west facing large terrace which gets flooded with sunlight from mid afternoon until sunset.
The bathroom:
Your own bathroom has a bath, shower, sink, loo, and plenty of shelf space. There’s a utility room with washer/drier, shelves and hanging space for laundry and coats.
Outside space:
The west terrace has an outside sofa, table and chairs to sit and enjoy the sunset. The north terrace opens from the living room with floor to ceiling windows and has incredible views of the city with table and chairs to sit outside.
The living room:
The flat comes fully furnished. The open plan kitchen has lots of cooking equipment, induction hob, large fridge freezer, cutlery, wine fridge, and plenty of cupboard space. There’s a big comfy L shaped sofa with large flatscreen tv connected to Sonos sound bar, subwoofer and speakers. The dining table can sit 4 or 6 when extended, and the living room opens onto the west and north terraces with floor to ceiling windows and has lots of natural light all day.
The building:
Living on the top floor of a tall modern building means the flat is quiet inside as it’s away from the traffic noise. The building has 24/7 security staff and concierge team who can accept package deliveries, CCTV cameras, two large bike garages, two lifts, and a massive roof terrace with 360 views of the city. The neighbours and staff are all really friendly and I know them well.
The neighbourhood:
The building is in a quiet residential area opposite a park and has some fantastic pubs (Crown & Anchor / Grosvenor Arms), cafes (Annapurna Cafe / Cafe Van Gough), gyms (F45 / MoreYoga / Gymnasium), restaurants (Pipoca / Booma), and live music venues (Brixton Jamm / The Swan). It’s also a less than 15mins walk to Brixton and Clapham with all the bars/restaurants/cafes of those areas.
Transport:
The walk to Stockwell station takes less than ten minutes and you’ll walk past the beautiful grand Georgian villas of Stockwell park Crescent. Stockwell station is conveniently located on the Victoria line and both branches of the Northern line so is only 5mins to Victoria, and 10mins to Oxford Circus, London Bridge or Charing Cross. Victoria station is just 15mins away by tube/bus/bike.
About me:
I’m 37yrs old, working in Finance and love to travel. I’ve owned this flat since it was built in 2016, I’m good friends with the neighbours, and would like to rent it to someone who takes care of it and loves it as much as I have. Please get in touch and we can arrange a viewing!
