Airy Double Room in Stoke Newington Houseshare

Ad ref# 11119468

We have an airy double ground floor room with wooden floors and high ceilings available in our terraced Stoke Newington house.

It's a beautiful three-floor Edwardian terraced house with lots of original features. It's pretty massive so lots of space for storage and you never feel on top of each other. We have a great kitchen (and separate pantry!) which opens on to a back garden. There are two bathrooms, a separate WC and a huge sitting room to boot.

Although we're all social and independent, the house has historically been pretty friendly, so this is a great opportunity for someone who want to really put their stamp on the place and make it their home (and make some new mates too). Ideally looking for someone looking to stay for at least a year so they can become part of the family :)

We are not a party house, so we are looking for a professional (no students and the room is for single occupancy only), between the ages of 28 and 37, who is pretty calm during the week and up for a few drinks at the weekend.

You'll be sharing with Charlotte, Anna, Dosh and Kate, all between the ages of 28 and 34. We have two lovely cats too :)

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*

The room is an airy mid-sized double, with high ceilings and plenty of room for bits of furniture. There is also a double bed frame included if you would like to keep it.

We have a private landlord so no agency fees!

The bills come to roughly £100 a month (sometimes less, sometimes more), and the deposit is pretty cheap at £333. Each housemate is in charge of one bill and everyone pays each other what's owed.

The room is available now so looking to fill it ASAP. We're happy to do virtual or socially-distanced viewings to suit your preference.

If you're not familiar with Stoke Newington, it's a really great area. We're a stone's throw from Clissold Park and Church Street which has great local independent shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and Newington Green is a 10 minute walk away. There's loads of public transport close, with Canonbury Overground being a 15-minute walk. If you work in the city, there are buses at the end of the road that can get you just about anywhere. If you prefer cycling, there is plenty of space to store your bike in the house too!
