Our lovely house-mate is leaving our house, so we are looking for a new person or a couple to join us in our 5 bedroom home in Stoke Newington.

About the room:
It is a very large loft room at the top of our house. It has windows on both sides of the property so it is nice and bright. As its at the top of the house it feels quite private from the rest of the house. The room has an en-suite shower room/ toilet, and there is a bath in the mid-floor bathroom should you want one. The room is furnished with a desk, wardrobe, draws and a bed. It comes with a bonus TV, should you want it. You could also easily add a sofa and dining table if you wanted to. We would be happy to have a couple for the room. The rent is 900, and is available from mid-July

Bills come to between 65-75 a month depending on time of year and if you will be a couple in the loft room.

About the rest of the house:
Although it is a 5 room house it never feels crowded because of the spacious living room, dine-in kitchen (with dishwasher), downstairs loo, and a small but sunny garden (with a hammock!). Our landlord is relaxed, quick to sort problems and very communicative if you need him - but doesn’t bother us otherwise. Tenants are welcome to paint their rooms and hang things on the wall etc. We have a weekly cleaner (cost included in the bills).

About us:
We are Anna (28), civil servant, and Sophie (27), PhD student/ researcher respectively. We usually work a bit more than 9-5 - mostly from home. We are chatty and enjoy spending time in one of the many local pubs, watching TV together and cooking the odd meal together. We also spend a lot of time walking around the many beautiful green spaces nearby - a lockdown habit I don’t think we will stop! To note, we have new housemates joining our home this summer who are really great too.

About you:
We are looking for people who tend to work/study similar hours to us and who are looking for a friendly place to call home. We love having people over, but aren’t really a party house (in or out of lockdown). If you are a group of friends who would be interested in moving into a shared house, this could be perfect for you!
