Location
- The location is ideal. the house is tucked just behind Stoke Newington High St / Church St, so just a few mins walk to lovely shops, restaurants and pubs (Wholefoods, Good Egg, etc.).
- 5 mins walk to Stoke Newington or Rectory Road stations, and a 2 min walk to a number of bus routes (Dalston/Finsbury Park/City/ Homerton/Camden/Chalk Farm/Kings Cross).
The house and garden
- The house is really spacious and very recently renovated from top to bottom. It's clean (our cleaner comes every week) and clutter-free.
- The kitchen is new, modern with integrated appliances and a breakfast bar and cupboards filled with everything you need for cooking.
- There is a dining table in the large and sunny sitting room, along with the usual sofa, TV etc (with Virgin Media and Prime).
- There's also a great garden - a sun trap, perfect for BBQs and relaxing on summer days.
The bedroom and bathroom
- The bedroom is a great size with a large wardrobe, a double bed and space for a desk. It's not overlooked and faces away from the road, so it's quiet.
- My bedroom has an en suite, so you would have the brand-new main bathroom (shower over bath) pretty much to yourself. Plus, the bedrooms are at opposite sides of the house, so you’ll really feel like you have your own space.
- The room is for single occupancy only - no couples/partners.
Existing housemate
- You would be living with me, I'm 31 and have recently moved back to London from abroad (but used to live in London for 5 years before hand).
- I work in business development for a tech company - currently working from home 4 days a week and 1 (sometimes 2) days in the office.
- I love to get out and about as much as possible (exercising, seeing friends, meeting new people etc.) but I also enjoy my downtime at home with a drink catching up on a series.
New housemate
- The house is a place to chill, recharge and hang out in a happy, tidy environment, so I’m looking for someone who wants to enjoy that as well
- I’m also looking for someone that has their own things going on, but is still up for going to the pub/dinner/drinks.
Parking
Permit parking is available to buy for Zone E.

- Bills are included, except for the weekly cleaner which we will need to pay directly.
