Double Room In Chill Stoke Newington Warehouse

Hey hey!

We are looking for a flatmate to fill a room in our beautiful sunny Stoke Newington warehouse.

About us:

You’ll be sharing with Holly (me), a 25 year old UX Designer, Lucy a 25 year old working as an EA, James who’s 33 and is a telecoms engineer and Jack who’s 27 and is chemical engineer.

We are a very sociable flat, not a party house (we do most of our partying outside the flat - bar a few pre drinks) but enjoy having a few friends over for drinks and dinner some evenings. If you’re looking for somewhere that is just a room and a place to stay as opposed to a home then this is probs not the place for you. We enjoy going to the pub, going out for dinner, playing board games, visiting museums, watching sport and having picnics. We're also big on just hanging out and watching movies together. (Also: Anyone with good pub quiz knowledge will be welcomed with open arms. ) We're a close-knit group of friends who met through SpareRoom, often cooking meals for each other and taking trips as a group. We're looking for someone who would fit well into this dynamic, but also values having their own space and independence.

We are a very clean and tidy house and we are looking for someone who is house trained and is willing to support with keeping the space looked after. We previously had a cleaner who would come every fortnight and are looking for another one to take her place currently. (This will be included with the money we pay for bills each month)

We are looking for someone who wants to stay here long term. The room is unfortunately unsuitable for couples due to its size and the fact we only have one bathroom.

About the flat:

We are on the 3rd floor accessed via stairs or an old service lift. We have v high ceilings so nicely separated from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. The area is really quiet, bar a few parties in the nearby warehouses every so often, although they’re not very disruptive. The kitchen/living room is full of light, and more than large enough for us all. There is also a Juliet balcony in the communal area which we like to keep open in the summer to get some air in. Additionally there is a fire escape of the back of my room which is nice to have a few beers on when the sun is out.

The room:

Large enough for a double bed, desk and clothes rail. The room is also east facing so you get some gorgeous sun in the morning until noon, with the room staying light throughout the summer evenings.

Your room will be 810 + bills of around 115ish

*** please note that the landlord has informed us that they want to put the rent up but we are unsure at this moment when this will be or how much the increase is, just something to bear in mind
