The room

Hi, I've signed a contract today on a spacious 2 bed flat in Stoke Newington and need to find a flatmate. Move in date is from 5th of May, or earlier if needed. Sorry about the current photos. I only have screenshots from the advertisement, but will update these asap.

🛌 The room is very large and bright (16'3" x 12'9" / 4.99 x 3.89 =19.49 sqm)

New floor boards and a build in cupboard and fireplace (not in use)

🏡 The flat is on the 4th floor, part of Carlton Mansion a late Victorian block. Both rooms are equal in size and there's an open plan brand new kitchen. The entire flat is 75.5 sqm. Wooden floor boards run throughout the property.

The bathroom is fairly small with a shower, but there's enough space for a cabinet or storage. I have a couch, mid century cabinet, table and chairs for the shared living area/ open plan kitchen.

📍The flat is located approximately 7 minutes walk from Stoke Newington overground and the closest bus stop is a 2min. walk. Stoke Newington Church street is just a 15min. walk away

About me: You will share the flat with me, female 39 from Germany. I've been living in London for the past 14 years and know the area well. I'm a Senior Lecturer in Illustration and work freelance. I love everything art related and like to go swimming.

I have a cat who's a bit shy but very sweet.

About you: I'm looking for someone who wants to make the place a home. Obviously dinners with friends and visits are welcomed and it would be nice if we can be friends as well and share dinner sometimes or grab a drink. I equally respect privacy and alone time as I know how stressful life can be. Overall also someone who's reliable, who shares cleaning, utilities and everything necessary.

I'm hoping to pick up the keys as soon as possible, so viewings can be arranged this Thursday.
