Lovely double room in spacious bright house

We have a bright double room to rent in a four bedroom house in Stoke Newington (literally on Stoke Newington Church Street!) so you'll have a very wide selection of bars/cafes and the lovely Clissold Park on your doostep.

We're looking for someone lovely (around 30-38 preferably) to come and join the house share, and we would like to find someone who is friendly, creative, social and wants to be part of our home.

The house is set over four levels, with a cute garden (so extra points if you're up for helping out with the gardening!) and a 'secret' back gate that opens onto Stoke Newington Church st. It has a large kitchen with a dining table and a lovely living room. The whole house has just been re-carpeted and repainted too :).

The room for rent is a double room and comes furnished. (There is a brand new bed frame in there as of last week too, updated photo to follow!)

We are a friendly social group and we enjoy going for drinks/dinner together when we're all free and during the week we often congregate in the living room/kitchen for a chat. We have our own lives but we like to know what's going on with each other too. There is always some fresh food/freshly baked goods on offer. We also love a dinner party/BBQ /wine/playing the kazoo music game (the best game in existence.) Although we’re not a party house, Lisa hosts a halloween party every year which she takes pretty seriously….so be warned!

Housemates:


Lisa (37)- Is from the North and works in Policy (which she struggles to explain to pretty much everyone.) Lisa lived in Paris for 5 years so enjoys anything language based but is also a huge music fan and loves to go out dancing to some dark 80's tunes. She loves Fleetwood Mac, Nick Cave and Bowie to name a few. She ‘s also into improv/sitcom writing which you’re likely to hear a lot of stories about! She also enjoys storytelling, yoga and gong baths and also loves to cook and bake.. for everyone!

Jess (32) is a very friendly redheaded journalist (a nice one) who likes to look after the many house plants scattered around and have chats in the kitchen. She is up for comedy nights, local yoga and live music with housemates who are feeling adventurous, as well as watching crap TV when it's cold and wet. She is embarrassingly easy to make laugh and would love to know about what you're into in life.

Sam (34) He likes coffee, climbing, cycling, camping, cooking and alterations with the letter C. Is also Australian, and is therefore unflappable when it comes to spiders, but may conspicuously complain about the cold. If you like sea chanties, Sam is your man.

Rent per month is £700, bills are around £130 , and we also have a weekly cleaner (£45 per month) There is a deposit of £500 which will be paid to the current housemates to secure the room.

The room is free from 1st March.
