Uh oh it's your dream house!!
Nico will be 2 months back in France and need someone to pick up his room. We are therefore looking from now to mid January (but flexible)
This house is so good, honestly.
It’s got a big, social living area with a great kitchen for cooking, a good table for dining and a wicked sofa for sitting. There’s sometimes a projector if we can be bothered to set it up and there’s always a big gold disco ball.
There’s a small garden out the front with a table and chairs that no one has ever used, plus a big garden out the back that we do actually use. In nice days we’ll eat outside a lot and lie in the hammock (maybe only summers...), constantly fearing that an apple will fall on your face from the ACTUAL APPLE TREE that we have. There’s also a pear tree and more bay leaves than you can shake a bay twig at.
Upstairs there’s a shared bathroom with a decent shower and bath, plus the three bedrooms. In one you’ll find Sophie and Tom who are a lovely couple from New Zealand and are architects trying to make London looks a little nicer to try to forget they left the loveliest country on earth. In another you’ll find Paul who does fluffy internet marketing stuff and makes things out of wood to distract himself from that. In the final room you’ll find YOU (maybe), plus the ghost of Nico, maybe.
The room is a double bedroom with a large window, built-in closet, giving on the backyard.
We also have two excellent cats.
Ideally looking for someone who wants to be a part of the house, cook dinner sometimes, eat dinners and pretend they’re delicious sometimes, bring their nice friends round, meet their awful friends elsewhere.
We are 2 min (really) away from Clissold park that has tennis, basketball and football facilities but also a nice skate park. The Castle Climbing centre is about 15min walk on the other side of the park.
The neighborhood is really quiet and we can hear the birds in the morning, but 2min walk away there is Church Street which holds a busy but chilled life: restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, cocktail bars, bakeries etc...
In terms of transports. We have the 73 and 476 lanes that go direct to Angel, King's Cross, Euston, Victoria. We are 10min walks from the Stoke Newington Station overground that goes straight to Liverpool street.
There are no estate agents involved (thank god). Bills are another 90-ish on top of the rent for all the normal things, plus a cleaner every fortnight.
We can't wait to meet you :)
Please let us know when you are available to come to visit this week (evening and this weekend)
(PS : Our room is back live after our chosen flatmate cancelled at short notice, so if you've sent us a message in the past and you're still looking, please do again so we know you are still interested.)
